‘An Indian-Summer Brown” by Dave Whitlock
On a warm October afternoon when I was 17 (65 years ago), I caught my first brown trout on a hopper. On that day, standing in the Big Hole River near Melrose, Montana, I started dreaming of someday painting that scene of my beautiful male brown and the incredible Rocky Mountain fall yellows, golds, crimsons and olives.
And now it’s made its way to my easel!

A number, such as 1/200, means that this is the first print signed and that there are only 200 prints that will ever be created of this work with these particular dimensions.
