Description
Flared Hair-Wing Dry Flies by Dave Whitlock
The flared hair wing dry flies imitate several adult aquatic and terrestrial insects in wing-fluttering or flying mode. These flies are meant to simulate, first and foremost, adult caddis and moths. They are also used as adult stoneflies, some mayflies and to a lesser extent grasshoppers, wasps, bees and occasionally subsurface flies such as emergers and diving egg depositors. Elk Hair Caddis and Stimulators, two of our most continuously popular and successful fly designs, are in this group.
Two sizes: 11 x 14 inches and 13 X 17 inches
A fly identification card is included.
