‘Six mature, male sunfish  formally dressed in their brilliant spawning attire. After a lifetime of wonderful experiences observing and catching southern sunfish, I wanted to create a special portrait of my six favorites to honor each for the pleasures they’ve given me and given so many young to old fly fishers, alike. I hope when you look at ‘Six Southern Gentlemen’ you will, like I do, smile as you recall your own happy times with the incredible sunfish.’
