‘Lake Trout’ by Dave Whitlock
I think lake trout are such a handsome fish as well as being a very significant member of North America’s salmonids because of their wide natural range, large size, long life and popularity. Most fly fishers have their best opportunity at ice-out when lake trout feed aggressively in shallow water on schools of spring-running smelt or alewives.

NOTE: Dave will sign your art to you personally, if you’d like. Just let us know what name to include in the ‘ORDER NOTES’ box at check-out.
Dave hand-enhances all his limited-edition prints with art pencils, inks and/or paints to enrich the colors and overall effect, adding value and individuality to the each print.
A limited-edition is a print that is only available in a limited number. The edition size tells you how many prints are produced and each is hand-signed by the artist and numbered. A number, such as 1/200, means that this is the first print signed and that there are only 200 prints that will ever be created of this work with these particular dimensions.
Giclee prints are reproductions of original art, printed on high-quality, archival art paper using special water-based, permanent inks. Giclée printing results in precise detail with very long-lasting color that should not fade for at least 85 years. All of Dave’s prints are Giclée prints.
